How to identify the anti-theft level of a safe

The security level of an anti-theft safe (cabinet) mainly refers to its anti-sabotage ability, referred to as anti-theft ability. The classification is based on the length of the net working time that the weakest link on the anti-theft safe (cabinet) can resist abnormal entry under the action of the prescribed sabotage tools.

The national standard GB10409-2001 “Anti-theft safes> Anti-theft safes” divides the security levels of anti-theft safes into 6 categories, namely A1, A2, B1, B2, B3, and C.

The anti-sabotage capabilities that all types of anti-theft safes must achieve are:

① The A1 anti-theft safe should be able to prevent the use of ordinary hand tools, portable power tools and grinding heads and these tools from interacting with each other, and entering within 15 minutes of net working time.

②Class A2 anti-theft safes should be able to prevent the use of ordinary hand tools, portable power tools, grinding heads and special portable power tools as well as the mutual use of these tools, and entry within 30 minutes of net working time.

③Class B1 anti-theft safes should be able to prevent common hand tools, portable power tools, grinding heads, special portable power tools and cutting torches, as well as the mutual use of these tools, and access within 15 minutes of net working time.

④Class B2 anti-theft safes should be able to prevent ordinary hand tools, portable power tools, grinding heads, special portable power tools, cutting torches, and these tools from being used in conjunction with each other, and entering within 30 minutes of net working time.

⑤Class B3 anti-theft safe should be able to prevent the use of ordinary hand tools, portable power tools, grinding heads, special portable power tools and cutting torches, as well as the mutual use of these tools, and access within 60 minutes of net working time.

⑥Class C anti-theft safes should be able to prevent ordinary hand tools, portable power tools, grinding heads, special portable power tools, cutting torches, explosives, and these tools and materials from being used in conjunction with each other, and entering within 60 minutes of net working time.
